Are You Experiencing Signs of Stress?

Stress can cause many illnesses.  It is actually toxic to your body.  Almost 70% of family caregivers feel stressed where up to 50% get depressed.  Know the signs of stress M so you can do something about it.  Taking care of you means you’ll be better able to take care of your loved one.  If you have any of these symptoms, get help.  Call your doctor, find a caregiver support group, ask for help in the house, take a break, walk and talk.

Feeling angry, irritable, or easily frustrated

MFeeling overwhelmed

Problems concentrating

Feeling burned out

Feeling nervous or anxious

Can’t concentrate 

Insomnia or troubling sleeping

Memory, forgetfulness

Any of these symptoms can lead to illness and poor health.  Here’s a long list of what the toxins of stress can do to your body:
